About Gauraaj
Welcome to Gauraaj, founded by Mrs Suman Nainwal on 2nd October 2021 as Gauraaj Pahadi Fasal Ewam Hastshilp, during the mid of covid-19 pandemic just to help the society from the villages of Uttarakhand. Due to the pandemic many of the youngsters were returning back home, so she decided to build up a platform wherein jobless families from remote villages can sell their self grown organic products from the hills of Himalaya at the best price.
In order to promote the production of organic products she had started conducting online meeting with the self help groups into different villages of the Uttarakhand. And made them aware about the financial benefits of organic products.
Our story is rooted in the heart of the Uttarakhand hills, where nature’s bounty meets a commitment to community, sustainability, and women’s empowerment.
Then she started exploring various registered organic farmers in Uttarakhand and other part of the nation to collect the best organic product for her consumers, with the same she had also organized many events to promote, and spread the awareness of the organic products. Millet Kranti Cycle Rally (The First ever Logest-300km Cycle rally to support Millet Millenium Year 2023) was one of them.
After the great success of her endeavor on 3rd May 2023 the Gauraaj Pahadi Fasal Ewam Hastshilp turned into the Gauraaj Valleyfood Private Limited.

Suman Nainwal, the founder of the organization, was honored with Maa Nanda Shakti Samman by the Rashtriya Uttarakhand Sabha in 2023 and Uttarakhand Gaurav Samman by the subsequent Lok Vikas Samiti.
Whereas for the excellent concept of Gauraj Pahari Crop and Handicraft, he was also awarded the Leader of the Year honor for Vijayalakshmidas Entrepreneurship 2023 under Satya Microcapital Limited.
